Our collection runs from UK 4 to UK 30, with sample gowns available in a genuine range of sizes — not just a single sample clipped to fit. Whether you're a standard bridal size or you need a made-to-order gown in a larger size, we have the experience and the range to find your perfect dress.
It's worth knowing that bridal sizing typically runs one to two sizes larger in number than your usual high street size — your stylist will take your measurements at your appointment and advise on the correct size to order, so there's nothing to worry about.
Your appointment at Dream Dresses Reading is private — no other brides will be in the boutique at the same time. Here's what a typical appointment looks like:
Before you arrive: You'll have shared your style ideas, your venue, and your budget with us. We'll have already pulled gowns we think you'll love.
When you arrive: You'll be welcomed with a drink, shown around the collection, and invited to share any ideas or concerns. This is your appointment — there's no rush and no pressure.
During your appointment: Typically 90 minutes to two hours. You'll try on multiple styles guided by your stylist, who will help you understand why certain silhouettes work and what's adjustable. Most brides find they want to try things they wouldn't have chosen themselves.
After your appointment: You're under no obligation to make any decisions on the day. Many brides book a second visit. When you're ready, we'll take your measurements, confirm your order, and take a deposit to place it with the designer.
We recommend bringing one to three guests — people whose opinion you trust. Larger groups can create conflicting voices that make the decision harder, not easier.
